TFArena Information

About Us

TFArena started out as an organizer for competitive events centered around the Arena game mode. Since then we have decided to expand our reach as a facilitator of events outside of Arena. This will come in the form of 6v6 events and potentially other formats in the future.

Our main mission for this change is to push competitive TF2 into a different direction. We hope to build a format/league that is both appealing to the current competitive ecosystem, and bring in new players who dislike the current format/league experience, but have interest in the competitive scene. These changes are being put at the forefront with the unbanning of long standing weapons and the introduction of Stopwatch gamemodes to 6v6.

FAQ

What Happened to Arena Mode?

Arena mode is not going anywhere! We decided as a collective that the best path to continue both our passion for Arena mode and for competitive TF2 events was to move into a direction that allowed us to have more creative freedom.

This has allowed for us to organize 6v6 events that aren't exclusive to the Arena game mode. In the future we hope to build this into other passion projects and hopefully help smaller groups run their own events on our platform.

This means that Arena mode will be back and with a renewed passion for the game mode. Us expanding our reach especially is a main goal and both Arena and Non-Arena events allow us to accomplish this goal.

All users must have a registered Steam Account, and must sign into the website before competing.

Players that wish to create a team must go to the Team tab, and click Start Team. This will prompt them with information about the team.

Team Captains can then invite their teammates through the Players tab on their team page.

Once the minimum amount of players are on the team for the respective format, team captains must go to the Leagues tab and choose the region that best fits them. There a green Sign Up button will allow for their team to register into the league.
